Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in machining and fabrication

• Experience with setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to and including 5 axis mills and 4 axis lathes. Experience with Heidenhain control is a plus.

• Competent in recent versions of CAM software systems such as Mastercam

• Good understanding of G code and hand-editing code at the machine

• Engineering drawing interpretation and inspection using GD&T per ASME Y14.5

• Able to plan projects, select proper cutters for materials and setup hardware for processing

• Familiar with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and providing DFM feedback to customers

• Experience machining a wide variety of aerospace alloys including nickel-based super-alloys

• Fluent in use of precision inspection equipment

• To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
